Medical Information for Dijon

You've just arrived and need some aspirin. What to do? Find a pharmacy, that's what! Just look for the flashing green "+" sign. Pharmacies here resemble fancy drugstores. Go in and wait to be served if you're looking for medicine. They have Ibuprofen (Advil), but you won't find Acetaminophen (Tylenol) in France. They use a medicine called Paracetamol (Doliprane) for headaches. You can also get Codeine. If, however, you need a stronger med, you'll have to call a doctor for a prescription (ordannance). What else will you see at a pharmacy? Fancy shampoos and creams, women's 'stuff'...and pretty much everything else.
