Private
Apartment Rentals
Dijon Rent-a-home: Dijon,
Burgundy, France - Click
here to go to their website I can vouch for this company
owned by the former Captain and wife team of the famous
Hotel Barge "La Reine Pedauque". Beatrice speaks
English, and their beautiful apartment
rentals are in the heart of the old city center, "centre
ville", and are within strolling distance of the Palais
des Ducs, Place de la Libération, antique shops,
restaurants, boutiques and the local market. They compare
favorably with hotel rooms, however they offer more space
for you and your family (or a second couple). They include
fully equipped kitchens, therefore you can "cook in"
to save costs. It's nice to have that option. We've stayed
at two of their properties, and both exceeded my expectations.
Plus they now offer day cruises on the Burgundy canal on
their gorgeous new barge! They also have a bike service
where they drop you off with a bike up the Burgundy canal,
and you can spend a leisurely, lovely day returning to Dijon
at your pace. Or spend the day touring wineries with Max!
